Privacy Policy
WebMeteor is currently available in India only.
This Privacy Policy explains how ProGalaxy eLabs Private Limited ("ProGalaxy eLabs", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use WebMeteor — our service for building and hosting web apps by chatting with Claude, at https://www.webmeteor.in and its sub-domains. By using WebMeteor you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are & how to contact us
WebMeteor is operated by ProGalaxy eLabs Private Limited, an Indian company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 144, Narayanapuram Colony, Poranki, Vijayawada (Rural), NTR District, Andhra Pradesh – 521137, India. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 8).
2. Information we collect
- Account & identity: your email address, verified either by a one-time passcode (OTP) or through Google sign-in, and the display name your identity provider returns. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Workspace metadata: the name, slug, template, and configuration of each workspace you create, and its container/runtime status.
- Prompts & build history: the instructions you send to Claude and the record of what was built or changed in your workspace (the build timeline and commit history).
- Token-usage counters: aggregate counts of the AI tokens your build sessions consume, per workspace, so you can see your usage.
- Billing data: payments are handled by our payment partner Razorpay. We do not store your full card number; we retain only what is needed for invoicing and records (e.g. plan, amount in INR, and the Razorpay transaction reference).
- Logs & technical data: IP address, browser/device information, and service logs, used for security, debugging, and reliability.
3. Your Claude account — the bring-your-own-token model
WebMeteor never sees or stores your Claude password.
When you connect Claude, you authorize your own Anthropic account through Anthropic's OAuth flow. WebMeteor receives and stores an access/refresh credential issued by that flow, which we use solely to drive build sessions in your workspace on your behalf. Your prompts run under your own Anthropic account and subscription and are subject to Anthropic's own usage limits and terms. You can disconnect Claude at any time — doing so deletes the stored credential from our systems.
4. How we use your data
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve WebMeteor.
- To run the build sessions you request, using the Claude credential you authorized.
- To show you your workspaces, build history, and token usage.
- To provide support and send service-related communications.
- To comply with applicable legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Third parties we share data with
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:
- Anthropic, PBC — the Claude AI you connect with your own account; your prompts and build context are processed by Anthropic under Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy.
- Razorpay — our payment processor for Indian payments (UPI, cards, net banking); it handles your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Google — when you choose Google sign-in, to verify your identity.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — cloud compute and hosting (India region) that run the WebMeteor platform and your workspace containers.
6. Storage, retention & deletion
We retain your account and workspace data while your account is active. Deleting a workspace removes that workspace's content — its code, database, prompts, and build history — and disconnecting Claude deletes the stored Claude credential. On account closure or upon request, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records, retained for the statutory period).
7. Data stored in your browser (localStorage)
WebMeteor stores small user-interface preferences in your browser's localStorage —
for example your chat-panel width and your selected coding model — so the builder remembers how you
like to work. These stay on your device, are not personal data we collect on our servers, and you
can clear them via your browser at any time.
8. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
As a Data Principal under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- Access a summary of the personal data we process about you.
- Correct, complete, update, or erase your personal data.
- Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as it was given. Withdrawal does not affect processing done before withdrawal; we then cease the relevant processing and delete or anonymise the affected data unless retention is required by law.
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive data, per-workspace isolation, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
10. Children
WebMeteor is not intended for individuals under 18.
