WebMeteor uses AI to build your app inside your workspace, so you need your own Claude Pro ($20/mo) or Max subscription, or your own ChatGPT (Codex) subscription — billed directly by that provider, not by WebMeteor. Your usage stays entirely within your own account with them. This is true from your very first credit — WebMeteor never includes or resells AI access, even during your free starter credit; you always connect and pay for your own Claude or ChatGPT (Codex) subscription separately.
Your WebMeteor subscription covers the cloud infrastructure: dev workspaces, builder previews, optional production hosting on your own domain, file storage, and the build pipeline. You pay Anthropic or OpenAI separately for the AI's intelligence. Think of it as: WebMeteor = the factory floor; Claude or Codex = the craftsman.
Dev credits are what power your cloud workspace while you build — creating it, running your AI-assisted sessions, and showing your progress at your own <yourapp>.dev.webmeteorapps.in preview link. This preview is for you (and anyone you share it with) while you're building — it isn't meant for your real end-users. You start with 1 free credit at no cost so you can try building before paying anything. After that, top up any time from ₹49 via UPI, cards, or net banking, whenever you want to keep building.
Your workspace stops — you'll see it marked "Stopped" — but your project files, code, and chat history are all safely kept exactly as you left them. Nothing is deleted and you're not locked out of your account. Top up any time from ₹49 and your workspace picks up right where it stopped.
That's stage two, and it's optional — see "Going live for real users, on your own domain" above. Building happens first, with dev credits and your .dev preview; when you're ready for real customers to reliably reach your app on your own domain, production hosting uses its own separate credit balance, so it's never something you're paying for until you actually want to go live.
WebMeteor is prepaid — you top up dev credits (and, separately, production credits) whenever you want, via Razorpay. There's no subscription to cancel: if you don't top up, you simply stop using credits. No long-term contracts, no auto-renewal.
Yes — each top-up is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase (see our Refunds & Cancellation Policy for the exact terms). This keeps our costs predictable so we can keep prices low. If you don't use it up in time, you can always top up again.

WebMeteor is available in India only. Dev credits and production hosting are billed in INR via Razorpay — UPI, Indian debit/credit cards, and net banking are all accepted. All prices shown include GST, and you'll get a GST tax invoice by email for every purchase.
